Cadence Counseling provides counseling and guidance services that are delivered exclusively online. These services include live sessions, structured digital programs, and ongoing support formats that require professional time, preparation, and scheduling.
Once a service is booked, specific time is reserved, and preparatory work may begin. Because of this, our services are classified as intangible, time-based digital services rather than physical goods.
As no physical product is shipped or delivered, traditional consumer return mechanisms do not apply. By completing a purchase, the client acknowledges the digital and service-based nature of what is being provided.
2. No Returns
Due to the non-physical and time-sensitive nature of our services, returns are not possible under any circumstances.
Once a service has been booked, scheduled, accessed, or delivered — whether partially or in full — it cannot be returned, exchanged, transferred, or resold. This applies to individual sessions, multi-session packages, subscriptions, and digital guidance programs.
The absence of a tangible product means there is nothing to physically return, and the professional time allocated cannot be recovered once reserved.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Completed or Attended Sessions
Refunds are not issued for services that have already been delivered or attended. This includes sessions that were completed in full, partially completed sessions, or sessions where the client was present but dissatisfied with the outcome.
Counseling outcomes are inherently personal and subjective. As such, refunds are not granted based on perceived usefulness, emotional response, or expectations regarding results.
Once professional time has been provided, the service is considered fulfilled.
3.2 Missed Sessions
If a client does not attend a scheduled session without providing prior notice, the session is considered delivered in full.
Missed sessions cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled. This policy exists because the session time was reserved exclusively for the client and could not be allocated to another individual.
Clients are responsible for ensuring their availability, technical readiness, and timely attendance.
3.3 Cancellations by the Client
Cancellations initiated by the client are not eligible for refunds, regardless of the reason or how far in advance the cancellation is made.
This includes cancellations due to personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, changes in financial situation, or changes in personal priorities.
By booking a service, the client agrees that the reservation of professional time itself constitutes service allocation and is therefore non-refundable.
3.4 Rescheduling
Clients may request to reschedule a session when possible, provided adequate notice is given. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must comply with the terms communicated at the time of booking.
Approval of rescheduling requests is not guaranteed and is handled on a case-by-case basis. Multiple rescheduling requests may be declined to ensure fairness and service consistency.
No refunds are issued if rescheduling is not possible.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare and exceptional situations where Cadence Counseling is unable to deliver a scheduled service due to internal technical issues, platform failures, or unforeseen circumstances on our side, we may offer an alternative resolution.
At our sole discretion, this may include:
- Rescheduling the affected session
- Issuing a service credit for future use
Cash refunds are not guaranteed, even in exceptional circumstances. Each situation is reviewed individually with fairness and practicality in mind.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute through a bank or payment provider without first contacting Cadence Counseling may result in immediate suspension or permanent restriction of access to our services.
Chargebacks significantly disrupt operations and may be disputed with supporting documentation. We strongly encourage clients to communicate directly with us so concerns can be reviewed calmly, respectfully, and efficiently.

6. No Financial, Legal, or Investment Guarantees
Cadence Counseling provides emotional support, clarity-focused counseling, and decision-support services only. We do not offer financial planning, debt management, legal advice, or investment recommendations.
No guarantees are made regarding financial outcomes, emotional transformation, debt resolution, or life changes. Because results depend on personal circumstances and client engagement, dissatisfaction with outcomes does not qualify for a refund.
Clients acknowledge that counseling is a supportive process, not a guaranteed solution.
